The system allows the selection of photos by selecting a folder and drawing all the paths and file name into a database. If the photo was taken with a digital camera the date taken is also stored. In the case of scanned pictures the date or part of a date can be entered. To identify the images a series of elements are setup, for people, places, events, in fact anything you want. Against these elements dates can be added, like date of birth or date of ownership or visit. Once the elements have been setup they can be attached to each photo and used to retrieve them. With the photo and elements being dated the program gives the age of everyone in the picture at the time it was taken.
